Archery has no problem capturing the imagination of sports fans. From William Tell shooting an apple off his son's head to Robin Hood splitting an arrow on the bull's eye, our folk tales are replete with the imagery of bows and arrows. For some, these are no mere tales, but the real life skills they've honed over years of practice. Olympic archery doesn't involve securing dinner for your tribe nor defending one's honor at court, but it remains the same basic idea: nail it right down the middle.
